Thermal Spray Solutions
Vivid provides a variety of efficient and cost-effective thermal application solutions with the versatility to meet virtually any thermal coating need. Thermal applications offer unique advantages which include pure metal properties allowing design engineers maximum flexibility from the nearly unlimited usable materials selection. Services include Plasma Spray, Combustion Wire (Flame) Spray and Twin Wire Arc.

Functional & Cosmetic Solutions
Vivid offers a full line of decorative and functional application processes so you can choose the best solution for your company. We have over 30 years of experience in industrial painting on various substrates, and are fully equipped with ten environmentally controlled application stations and three large walk-in ovens for curing and stabilizing the coatings. We also offer a full line of cosmetic services which include EMI/RFI Shielding, Paint, Powder Coating, Silk Screening, Hot Stamping, Waterbase and Polyurethane.

Vivid Inc. was formed in 1990 as three managers from Spectra-Physics branched the paint coatings division into an independent entity. Funded with over one million in environmentally safe painting equipment, Vivid began providing wet paint coatings to meet environmental quality requirements of both state and federal regulation.

Today Vivid has grown to be one of the largest materials coating providers in the Silicon Valley. Our customers include a number of the world’s leading equipment manufacturer’s in such industries as semiconductor, telecommunications, automotive and medical.
